Just bought Renovo soft top reviver

Little information letter says i need to use Renove soft top canvas cleaner first. Any of u guys used this product and what procedure did u take?

Last time I did mine I cleaned the roof using a tiny drop of car shampoo in a lot of warm water and scrubbed it using a soft brush. I used a shoe brush but you can get Megiuars/Halfords ones though they are a bit more expensive.

Make sure you wash the hood off well with clean water afterwards, before using the Renovo as any residual foam affects the application.

Don't apply in direct sun. I did and it dried a little quickly in places and went shiny

Went ahead and ordered the cleaner anyway but thanks for the advice i was gunna wait till a sunny day and do it then so im glad i posted this message

It will look a bit streaky when you first brush it on but dries pretty evently. Well worth the money - brought my hood up like new.

Can vouch for it too, and I didn't use the cleaner just warm water and sponge. I used it to change a rather tatty "beige" looking hood into a nice black one. But definitely don't do it in direct sunlight as it does go shiny.... also make sure you do it all in one go or else slightly differing drying times mean you can see (albeit if you look hard) the different applications... then topped it up with the sealant.
Very pleased with results...
