Looking to buy a cheap (£500ish?) laptop.

Mainly for surfing and storage not important as I has an external hard drive.

Quick, small, light. Must have wireless. Bluetooth preferable.

Any ideas?

ETA - this seems dirt cheap. Any opinions?

Stretch to a Centrino if possible, and at least 512Mb Ram. check out www.ebuyer.com for some good deals. You could get a laptop with 256Mb ram and buy an upgrade memory chip - do the upgrade yourself - very straightforward.

Just bought a Compaq Presrio from PC world for £799, but that needs to be used for work and hold a database on it etc... so was a bit different. Couple of chaps at the office have Dells which I think were about this level and seem ok, although one guy has a real pain getting his to recognise the wireless networks in office and then to recognise Blueyonder at home.

But I'm really not a techie at all, so probably best to ignore my advice

I've got the V4000 £499 - does the job for me.

If I'm reading it correctly it's not really WIFI enabled as it says WIFI is via USB
