Quick Shift Gear Kit

Has anybody fitted a Quick Shift Gear kit? If so I have a couple of questions:
A) Can you fit it to the existing TVR modified gear lever, or do you need to modify another one, not sure if there is enough room after the kit is fitted for the tension you will need to find reverse?
B) Currently I have the body off the chassis, can you get the gear lever out of the gearbox with the body on?
Any help would be great.
