Hello guys, I am after advice on the best reading material concerning the buying and maintaining of a 964 as I am planning to start looking at some with a view to purchase in the next few months, I will go for an independant inspection but I dont want to be clueless myself.

Adrian Streathers "Porsche 911 1989-1994" is a massive tome - covers just about everything. I bought one as I'm mechanically minded, but have no experience of Porsches at all. Currently looking for a Turbo 2.

r5gttgaz = get yourself to the lincs porsche meeting at www.911sport.co.uk on saturday 29th July, there is lots going on, a BBQ and a few other things going on in aid of charity, we are looking for potential porsche owners to get along not just owners.
dont worry, its not all sandals and beards, alot of the crowd are actually quite cool. (and some post here) would be a good excuse to have this well discussed meet whilst having a look at the cars and mabe a few of us could even go for a run afterwards.
im sure some of the guys will take you for a spin too
