Actually 3 cars have now been crashed, the 3rd by Valentino Balboni himself during a road test for a magazine. These cars aren't too nimble, so not entirely suprised if they are being pushed around twisty turny roads.

Didn't Rohrl stuff a Carrera GT on the Ring?

I guess no matter how good you are, with the amount of miles driven you're going to spank a few. Especially if you're testing a car to see what it's like at the limit.

Wouldn't it be safer for everyone if they tested the cars at the limt on a track instead of on the streets? Not only would it be safer it would save embrassment for the company in that one of it's cars was wrecked on the track not on the road.
