Gone,but not forgotten

Sold the 280i to a good guy in Germany.We met at Stanstead after a whirlwind romance!I drove from Stratford , he flew in from Karlsruhe, handed over the cash and drove home to just the German side of the border near Strasbourg, arriving about 2.15am having landed at Boulogne at 1930...not so bad!If the speedo had been working he'd have known how far it was! Sorry to see it go, it was a really good car, lots of fun, reliable and a good bunch on this website!If I knew how to put a "smiley" in it would have been "bye bye!"
