I've never had a problem with noise and have managed some respectable speeds there. I also have no problem with people having runs in the odd Skoda or a Focus down the runway (I don't forget that my motoring history started in hot hatches).

The biggest problem is that owners of some Italian cars think that noise=power, so purchase accordingly........

Lol.

It reminds me of Mod saying he had to stop acclerating at 150mph because of his splitter- there were plenty of people barely hitting 150 anyway!

I felt like taking off my wing (and giving it back to the Jumbo) to see if it made a difference.


Yeah, I had to stop accelerating at 150 too ... though in my case I'd run out of runway.

(And folding the mirrors flat made no difference at all)

Can't even be bothered to log in - however i assume they're still moaning that VMAX is dead blah blah blah and about my daily driver which was parked up at vmax 10 whilst i abused the elise.....

This set me thinking, my first car was a mini van,and it wasnt long before I doubled the power out put....Things havent changed much over the years.
