Black underside paint

Anyone know what the black paint stuff on the underside of the body is? Anything special?

I had a little petrol leak when filling up a week or two ago, and when I wiped it off, it took the black stuff right off - I want to replace it.

I use the Waxoyl one that Halfords sells. It seems to match okay.

mines just satin black if your on about the lower edges of the body & the wheel arches,nothing special from halfords i would imagine.

I did the underside of mine this last winter with satin black Repaint from Halfords, applied with a brush and looks good.

For what it is worth (probably about a tenner!) I used Smooth Black Gloss Hammerite on the underside of mine...

Dinitrol 4125 wax underseal. Good colour match, water repellent, hardwearing and flexible.
