I've been using a CTEK 3600 battery charger by connecting the red wire of the charger to the positive on the battery and the black wire to the bolt holding the battery in place.

I've done this because there doesn't seem any other way of connecting to the chassis. It seems to be working but the bolt holding the battery in place doesn't appear to be connected to the chassis.

Is this the correct way or is there a better way of connecting to the chassis?

Why mess about with the chassis itself? Simply connect the CTEK black lead directly to the negative battery terminal and the red lead to the battery positive terminal - Job done.

Thanks Nigelo

I was hoping you'd see this. I read the instructions a couple of times and wasn't sure if I could.
