Probably the best track day ever.

Thank you Bookatrack for a very well organised day, only 30 cars and hours of clear track time.

A huge thank you to Tony, Lee and Dave at the factory for coming to the track and replacing a weeping rear shock (just to be safe). Excellent Customer Services yet again.

Spanked everything on the day including a heavily modded Manthey Racing prepared 911 GT3 RS with 450 squillion BHP. Had a great run with a welll driven 2004 911 RS playing chase, and be chased. Nothing in top speed along the Starky straight between the 2 cars.

I love Donington circuit, and man, I love my Noble it's the most rewarding drive I have ever had.

The White GT3 RS was the only car that could challenge the Noble on the day. I caught him up during one session whilst he was following slower cars. Once released, I tagged him for a few laps, he pulled over to let me by, and he tagged me for a few more laps before we came in. The lad peddled the RS very well, we both took similar lines around Donington, he was quite a bit later on the brakes, but I carried more speed through each corner. Top line speed along the Starky (?) straight was very similar between both cars.

This was the first real comparison I have against a well driven 2004 RS, most of the others were not driven so well.

Porsche 911 RS (2004 model) £90,000 plus when new
Noble circa £35,000 less expensive when new.
