After reading about some of the insurance quotes on here, i decided to have a ring around. I am insured with Tesco at the moment and even managed to get my daughter (aged 20 )covered for the drive back from Le Mans. £23 for 3 days fully comprehensive. On arrival at home my son (aged 22) asked me to get him insured for a few days,i rang Tesco and was told he had to be 25 .I told them about my daughter and was told it was a mistake and underwriters say 25 minimum.
So quick call to MCE, yes they can insure my son from 23 ( 2 months time) . £60 week fully com, my premium has dropped from £1000 to £697 which includes 90 days abroad, for which i had to pay extra with Tesco also if it ever needs repairing i can choose the garage!
Just got a quote from A PLan,,,£639. £250 excess,90 days foreign cover. This is the one i have taken out. £360 cheaper than Tesco and foreign travell included. nice one. And i can get my son insured from aged 22.

A-Plan have just got my modified car business. seem to know what they arec talking about. Spioke to a girl who asked the power of the supercharger and I told her 462bhp. She asked if that was on a dyno and I said no, that was the claimed figure using the supplied tune. Most would go "What does that mean?". LOL.
