Not a 'rari sadly, but as I most of the PH regulars I know are in here I will post here instead!

E36 M3 GT

295BHP with some other nice extras - some pics of a LHD one here http://drive.to/m3-gt as most people I have told don't recall ever seeing one before!

Roll on the next PH meet!!

And Manu, I don't want a new exhaust !!! (yet)

Well done Chris.

I've never seen one but have heard of them. I hope you enjoy your motoring and look forward to a demo at a future event.

Congrats!

Like the aluminium bits, best way to make a car faster IMHO.

...along with fitting a big V8

The GT is 295BHP from the factory - The engone mods were done for homologation purposes I believe and are as follows:

264 degree Cams,
Double Tandem Duocentric oil pumps,
Upgraded DME/VANOS software,
Shortened intake-pipes
BMW Motorsport GT Oil Pan.

The guy at www.cavallino.co.uk I spoke to has one he races and advised a chip change, as this should yeild 320BHP and a nicer torque curve.

Remember seeing one years ago in Sytners Nottingham and loved the colour, the salesman had a better name for it than BRG though 'Panzer Green'
Have you bought the one thats for sale in the PH clasifieds?

No - It wasn't the one in PH classifieds as that has rather high mileage.

It is actually in Belfast!! (and I am in London!)

Panzer Green does sound more like it!!!

quick track car too!!

I was given a very hard time by one of these last track day (well actually he went past me )

These have the front aerofoils that you can slide out I think ???

I think I really should track it at least once - looking at the nurburgring lap times it has done it in 8.22 (with a pretty hot driver I assume!!) so it certainly should be OK with me behind the wheel!!

I am flying to Belfast on Saturday morning and bringing it back on the ferry - I am a little concerned about the adjustable splitter being removed when I get it on the ferry - anyone ever tried getting a low car onto a ferry??

My Alpina spoilered E36 was quite low, it was the early snow plow style front spoiler and getting on the ferry to le man one year it caught on the on ramp and popped out one of the front fogs luckily a P&O bod spotted it and tannoyed me to sort it out and even payed for the repairs
I also had a strip of carbon fibre glued to the underside as it grounded out reversing of my drive.

Excellent stuff Chris - I take it you'll not be getting a lift to the next Virginia Water meet !!

Most importantly, is your PH name now accurate again!?
