Warranty - Quick one please.
Discussion
I asked this in another thread but didn’t get a response. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
I bought my T350 from a dealer and have already got warranty. Can I not take it to a TVR garage before the warranty expires and get a complete survey carried out (at my expense) for them to tell me exactly what needs attention / replacing on the car, THEN… get them to fix it all under my current warranty? That way, I can then renew my warranty knowing full well that the car is perfect order, therefore there is no chance of me getting hit with a stupid bill when it comes round to warranty renewal time?
This way, when it comes to selling time, myself and the buyer can rest assured knowing that the car is perfect surely.
Or does it just not work like that?
Thanks chaps.

I would imagine that would be exactly how it works. The thread I started was in relation to the used TVR warranty that became available a few months ago, and it is that one (which is really the same warranty as yours), which requires the 100-point inspection. The inspection assures the warranty company that a car is up to the same standard as yours already is. The key point for you is that yours is already assumed to be at warranty standard, and therefore shouldn't need a new inspection if you have had it correctly serviced, and are simply renewing the warranty as and when it runs out.

Great - That's just what I wanted to hear. I want my car in perfect condition at all times and refuse to settle for anything less.
Thanks for your help.
Was in the position last year of having fried clutch which went about 3 weeks before Warranty expired. While I was getting it repaired at C. Neil's I asked about renewal of Warranty and they fixed me up with a 2 year Warranty (which I am continuing to benefit from unfortunately). I presume other specialists should be able to sort you out in the same way.
