360 CS Yesterday on M11?....
Discussion
Afternoon everyone,
Quick one....had a 5min blat with a chap in a gorgeous 360CS, with the tricolore stripes, heading south on M11 yesterday evening. Had a chat with him at the Bishops Stortford Svcs, but was a brief chat....didn't have chance to have a closer look at the beast (bloody well heard it fly past me though!). He'd just been to the unrestricted (noise) trackday at Donington....anyone that posts on here? Seem to remember the number plate had "JOE" in it?...can't be *that* many CS's around?
Cheers

I was also at Donington yesterday for that session in the Gallardo. Had a bit of a dabble with him round the track, he seemed to be able to carry a bit more corner speed than me but once on to the straights he didn't have the straight line power that the gallardo does. Awesome day tough, there was an old 70's F1 car there, sounded just awesome.

Yeah no problem, at one point up the Dunlop straight they were all bunched together (Blue 355, red 348 and the CS), then further on i passed tham all down the pit straight. The 348 was kicking out some superb flames on the downshift into Redgate. Why can't every day be like yesterday!!

A lot of the supposed CS's are fakes. Verdi were doing a job lot on CS wheels and if you look closely the stripes are the wrong way round.
I know that hud9on and Joe's are replica CS's.
A chap called Tommo has a real one, but without the stripe.
Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Hi Rick,
It certainly sounded the part, I've got some videos I can post if there a hosting service that supports sound. The highlight of the day for me was the 1970's F1 car going rou8nd at Lunchtime, sounded awesome!! And i was only 20 secs slower than hime round Donington!! I guess i need to work on my heel and toeing!!!
