I am nearly at the stage of purchasing a 98 355B and would appreciate some advice ref good companies to try for quotes. I am 39 with just 3 points!. Sorry this is a dull subject!

We've got sooooo many threads here regarding this subject. Search with insurance under the Ferrari, Maserati & Lamborghini forum and it should bring up all you need. Remember to search all dates.

While you're at it, you could add a note to the FAQ section here with links to the data that you find

If you don't find anything, let us know and I'll have a look for you.

One that I didn't see mentioned is APlan. I spoke with Chris and Paul on 0800 731 7666.

I phoned loads and Tesco were by far the cheapest. APlan matched the quote when I pushed them, and I did this because they assured me that in the event of trouble the car would go straight back to a main dealer. Tesco couldn't (wouldn't) guarantee this.

32, no points, full ncb, central London, 4yr old RHD 355GTB with protected ncb came out at 1700 or so (unlimited miles). Not cheap but could have been worse - NU quoted 6k and plenty of others were coming in at 3k+.
