Easy. 2 popular options. Take your pick.

1) Becker Traffic Pro for the integrated stereo/sat nav + oem look

2) TomTom or similar external satnav

best price for cheap TomToms... www.find-tomtom-deals.co.uk/new_models

Andy,
Is that the finished product? Or is there more to it?
What components are used?

Its a work in progress at the moment...

At the moment its just a pioneer avic hd1 (think thats the full name?!). I had a pioneer previously, and didnt get on with the PCM 1 so had a chat with the guys at prestige to see what they could recomend, and this was it. It obviously does sat nav and dvds, but also bluetooth phone connection, has its own hard drive which auto records CDs as you play them, and has an ipod interface. The original install took longer than i thought but they had to make a custome surround for it, and i think they have done a fantastic job on it! Would thoroughly recomend them to anyone (Sextons is actually 5 minutes down the road from me, Rickmansworth is an hour, but just got a better feeling out of prestige plus they were alot cheaper!!

Its going back in this weekend to have the Ipod cable attached, and will have a chat with chris about options to fill that cubby hole - one being sticking my origin b2 in there, and they can make a custom surround so it all blends in.

Contemplating new speakers etc but to be honest, i dont really listen to the music loud enough at the moment to really notice it. Oh, and the missus wont let me...

Oh, just to add, the pionneer unit is a one stop shop - i.e. there are no other boxes hidden anywhere, its all in the head unit, if that makes sense?

Did they relocate the climate control controls or are they down there normally in a facelift?

Thanks for the kind words Andy!

Because Andy's car had PCM1 in there already the climate control was down there, but if you have CDR22/23 then we do relocate the climate control down there.

Cheers

Chris
