Just had my 4l Chim in for service and it required new brake hoses. The trouble is that the bleed nipples on the front calipers are seized so due to difficulties bleeding them the brakes are not as effective now as they were beforehand.

Does anyone have any recommendations? What car are the standard calipers from? Is it worth upgrading them?

Cheers,

That Daddy

Try spraying penetrating fluid and leaving over night. Then see if they will move. Do use the correct size ring spanner not an open ended one otherwise you will round the flats off. Be gentle, too much force and they will shear off. If you get them out replace with new from a Ford dealer prior to bleeding the brakes
