993 Tweeters

Hi all

The tweeters in my 993 C2 are missing. Does anyone know of any aftermarket items. The only one's I can find are all about 1" in diameter and I think I need about 2" diameter. Alternatively if anyone has any standard tweeters for sale? Cheers.

Was just looking at this on Rennlist - do a search on there. Presumably you have the Hifi upgrade?

If so, ALPINE SPX-177R drop straight in, plus others.

I've already got an Alpine Head unit and upgraded pioneer speakers in the doors. It was really just the small separate tweeters i was looking to get. The Alpine SPX-177R units seem to be a replacement speaker for the main door speakers. Cheers

Not sure if you want aftermarket coz you don't want oem?

If OEM is OK then you should be able to get 2nd's from one of the breakers - prestige, jasmine, porscheapart etc?

I'd try and get some OEM ones unless you want to change the mid and crossover too as aftermarket ones probably won't match the factory mid range speakers very well.
