Ok, have just upgraded on a whim to a nice shiny D200 and have a decent selection of lenses (including 18 - 200 VR Nikkor, 10 - 20 Sigma, and a 105mm Micro-Nikkor macro) to play with... initially though I'd hang on to the D70 body but can't imagine I'll really lug two cameras around or use the D70 in preference to the 'bigger' one. Or will I? Anyone done this? Shall I just ebay it whilst it's current and reinvest the proceeds in more glass?

With your selection of lenses, a two camera outfit wouldn't really have any benefits. I use 2 as my lenses are 18-55 and 80-200 and hence don't overlap their range at all like yours do.

are you a professional?
might you ever need a good camera as a backup? if so, then it might be wise to keep the D70. if that situation is extremely unlikely to ever arise then i cant see any real point in keeping it, and you might aswell sell it.

Me.

If I'm out on a 'lets go out and take pics' run, it's really good to have more than one body - differnt setups, lenses etc.

I flogged mine along with the 18-70 lens when I upgraded to a D200. Sure it would be useful in certain circumnstances but not as useful as the £450 I got from selling it!
