Hello men, right, thinking caps on please.I intend to change the layout/type of rear lamps on my rear clip, any ideas? So far I have come up with,Skyline GTR R34,Mclaren,Ascari,and I did consider Ferrari but have changed my mind.Even considered late Range Rover but at over £500 for O/E parts, decided against it.The Ultima has cost more than an arm and a leg so far and if I don't cap the spending soon, I will have no limbs left for driving the damn thing!

To be honest chap, I think you'd be very hard pressed to improve on them as is (IMHO). Even Pagani were using rear light units from a bus until about 18 months ago!

The Fiat lights look great I reckon.

Hope I understood the quistion good, but what about the hella? rearllights also used by technocars...see picture and there is a thread of those lights somewhere...

Also wiesmann GT uses those I believe, and also the Gumpert Apollo and many other fast ligtweight cars

Wayne, have a look in here they have LED lenses that are plain white and come in side/brake/fog/indicator and reverse. I think you're still looking at a fair wedge though.

Graham.

Hi Wayne

We used all six lenses in red instead of the four red and two orange/clear. The turn signals sequence like an old T-Bird...1-2-3...1-2-3... We then installed some dedicated back up lights down next to our license plate to help fill in the space left over due to the US plate size. Here's a picture:

Hello Brad,I like what you have done there but over here in Blighty the law prohibits us from doing the same.I did think about a similar sequential arrangement with amber lights but I would also like to keep the rear clean and uncluttered.I have ordered a set of Skyline/Lexus LED lamps and should have everything I need in just four lenses and the fact that the two outers are larger than the two inners may well give the modifications some character I feel.

That sounds great. Make sure to put up a picture once you get it done.
