Foz, check out Beamish in Co. Durham, 0191 387 4555. They transport performance/sports cars etc.

450 sounds about right to me, I had to transport my car from Edinburgh to Norfolk a couple of years ago and that was about 450.

A mate used "ALP Transport" from near Turriff to bring up something of his from down south, they seem to be forever going through Aberdeen with artic transporters full of cars.

You could try Car Storage Scotland in Edinburgh. Thier website is www.carstoragescotland.co.uk They offer a transport service as well as storage.

I used Aberdeen Trailers to get my Lotus up from Sussex. If they've got a truck going down anyway you may get a good deal

Aberdeen Trailers
Crichney Lade Croft, Fyvie, Turriff, Aberdeenshire AB53 8QY
Tel: 01651 891538

Or you could give Norman a ring at C.A.R.S.

Good Luck

I too used Aberdeen Trailers to get a car from the south coast to Aberdeen, around £300 if I remember right, that was a couple of years ago though.

They did a good job but I had to wait until they had a truck around the right area, a bit over a week I think it was.

A friend of mine owns www.pvl.org.uk he's Midlands based but runs to Scotland, if it's not a time dependant delivery you may get a deal on a return run. There's a quotation form on his website.

Try Spadge Hopkins at Cottage Classics (www.cottageclassics.co.uk/) - if he is delivering anything in cotland, he might be able to take the S2000 back on the return trip?

I saw the car sitting on the top deck of the transporter this weekend. You'll be glad it wasn't raining as the window was left open
