A reciept for a new Lumina SS (Monaro - 4 door). Its red with red fabric seats, leather gets real hot here. Once it is registered I can pick it up, hopefully later today. Will send piccies when I get it...

Sory to burst someone's bubble, but there is no such animal as a 4 door Monaro - if 4 doors then it must be a Commodore (SS?) Also, Monaro's only come with leather seats.

hehe hes got it half right, the monaro is after all a 2 door commo!

Isn't the Lumina is the export version of the Commodore? Theyre used to be a Lumina along with the Berlina and Calais in the VT lineup, but don't recall seeing one in teh current VX/VZ line up.

P.S. Drove a HSV Grange in anger the other day.... not bad at all although lacked refinement but starship fast!

Someone else on here had a 2 door Lumina in the middle east somewhere. Maybe they do a 4 door version also for that market?

No ifs or buts - if it aint a ute or Statesman and it has 4 doors - its a Commodore (Lumina for export), if it has 2 doors (not ute) then its a Monaro (Lumina Coupe).

I understood what Brpod and V6 JDT were both trying to say but choose not to chuck the boot in!
A four door Lumina exists so does a 2 door!
You and I know it is a rebadged commodore, I am not sure all Monaro owners would know it is related, hence Brpod's quote.
I am sure Brpod was only saying Monaro 4 door to illustrate it is related to the UK monaro.

In fact a whole host of little beasties can be seen at:

If anybody fancies a new one of the shelf and is willing to pay for shipping and import tax for the UK I am sure we could come to some sort of a deal...
