Anyone know of a good independent near Milton Keynes?

Seem to have a problem
Took the car out this morning for a spin and all seemed fine. Back for lunch and then another run in the afternoon.
Noticed about a mile from home that there was a clunk (from the rear)every time i either took my foot off or put my foot on the accelerator pedal. The clunk was worse when changing gears (changing up only, no clunk when changing down) The clunk was accompanied by the car jolting a little?
Want to get it looked at, but dont know anyone local (dont want to drive it far).
Does anyone know a good indepenent near Milton Keynes?
