Polishing

In the vein hope that I can get mine into the condition where it's not the worst looking Wedge in attendance to BBWF 06, today I've mostly been polishing! Is anyone else as disappointed in their efforts as me? It's the usual problem with red paint, the bonnet has gone flat. Time for some cutting compound me thinks!

Wot polish have you found gives the deepest shine?

I used a cheapy mop from local motor factors (£15) and T-cut, followed by Carplan wax (nothing amazing really). took 4 hours a while back. Have a look at my site in my profile. She came up super considering she was all pink and faded. The colour has held and I have only waxed it once since.

meguiars gold class cleaning wax after a good wash and dry gives our cerb a real extra bettter shine to it all

Sorry old chap, could you show me how good your product is one more time!!! Yes I know you have polished the whole car twice but I am not quite convinced....

Just had a look at my own pics, got to laugh really. I don't reckon I can get her like that again for BBWF. I am sure there is some trick photography there. LOL
