Nope, assuming you're PC is connected to the internat by USB, that should be all you need.

Again assuming XP, turn on Internet Connection Sharing, leave everything default, it should just work.

Make sure your ethernet card isn;t firewalled.

What have you actually got and how does your PC connect to the internet at present?

Cheers guys!
I've got half way there!
I can get as far as the XBOX getting it's IP address authorised but it fails at the DNS test.

Just to clariffy, I got a pc with xpsp2 on it, an ethernet card in the pc which has a crossover cable pluged into it which plugs straight into the XBOX360
My ISP is AOL

I had a bit more success trying an ADSL router, but it won't let me on the Net (with PC or XBOX) how do I convince the PC that the Router is now my modem (it's a netgear one)

If all else fails I might go wireless!!

To be honest thats the last thing you want to do unless you can figure out how to sort this bit first. Wireless tends to be where most peoples network problems start not end!

AOL still have an MTU setting in place I think if you use a router something like 1400 do a forumn search I'm sure its been mentioned here.
