play in steering

got a bit of play in the steering (should be renamed 'heaving' in non-PAS TVRs..)which I think is prob the steering link arm - the one with the 2 knuckle UJs on it. Are they easy to replace?

Probably one or both of the UJ's - pretty easy to replace - just make sre that it all lines up properly afterwards

can a complete assembly be purchased (rod with the 2 UJ's at either end?) or do the individual Ujs have to be replaced on the existing link rod?

Just replace the UJs, there are a lot of different length rods, I ended up with 3 before I found the right one, John.

It's a bit of a pig of a job, but follow the noddy guide in the bible and it should go OK.
Don't be afraid to file a bit off the UJ's or the rod if things won't quite go back together. Mine was a real fight until I took the file to it.
