Hi all,
just bought t350t in spectraflair silver, new to tvr, luv the whole tvr thing, learning new things everyday, however, can anybody clear up a few things for me please. What's the fuel tank capacity? TVR website says 63litres, my manual says 56litres, my dealer says about 50litres, who is right? Also, average driving, how many miles should I get to a full tank? - the fuel gauge drives me nuts! Some say 250, some say 200, some say nearly 300. Thanks for any comments.

250 in the Tamora. The handbook is wrong, I think it is 56 litres.

I've never got more than 52 litres (reading) in my tank. I suspect the Tamora and T350 tanks might be slightly different sizes - look at how different the installations are.

Just had the sender unit changed and the tank capacity in my Tamora has gone up fro 51l to 54l (must be a smaller sender unit!!!).

54L is the max mine ever shows. My old Tam was the same.

Whatever it says at fill up time I add 5L and subtract from 54 which give the exact amount to add.

My Tamora had been down to 0 litres and the most I could squeeze in was a tad over 54 litres.

I get 150-200 miles per tank, depending on how I drive

Fuel guage drove me mad when I got mine but I've learned to live with it now. 52 litres (reading) in the most I've got in but usually go for less than full as I have had a few occasions when the fuel has flowed back out of the filler pipe and down the bodywork... horror! Always carry a bottle of water in the boot to rinse the wing on the now, thankfully rare, occasions this happens.

Enjoy the car - Rippers

Not sure of the exact figures, I think 56 is right but the reading isn't that accurate so I wouldn't recommend you rely on it.

I run it on a 'base' assumption of 50l max on the 'dial', look for fuel below 15l, and assume 3 miles per litre range.

I drive from Bourenmouth to London every weekend - 157 miles (m25 route) and I do it on no more than £25!!! I checked this a few times so im sure it's right.

im sure.

My Boxter used to average about 16 / 18 back bucks to Bourenmouth..
T350, I just drift up and down the motorway. If i do give it the beans then yes, the fuel gets destroyed.

mine seems to drink it big time, lots of short 6 mile trips, like I say I filled up at 187miles when reading says 1-2 litres left in tank, I'm sure on better ,longer runs its better, however, I do sound like a geek, I didnt buy this awesome car for the incredible fuel economy, apologies for geekness!!!
