On board with Stewart at Brands and Zandvoort
Discussion
A couple of short clips, after Eric's Monaco 1970 post whetted my appetite for 60/70's F1.
At Zandvoort '66 with the epic sountrack of the BRM(short but sweet!):

That first clip is from the feature film "Grand Prix". Special in-car footage was shot with the co-operation of some of the then current F1 drivers. I would expect that those shots were taken on board one of the film cars - which were Formula 3 Lotuses by and large painted to look like F1 BRMs, Ferraris and Lotuses. I would imagine the sound you are hearing is probably a 1600 CC Cosworth F3 engine.
