Hey all,

I've, as many others have also, have had no cause to complain about PlusNet - they've always been great and cheap.

However, just recently they've changed their support strategy, and its proving absolutely impossible to get ahold of a human at the end of their support telephone numbers.

You used to be able to phone up and wait to speak to an advisor, but now its all press 6 and press 4 to get here - and often these options end up with you being cut off.

I have three accounts that I need to get problems sorted out on, and am desperate to speak to SOMEBODY!

Can anyone help me with this, maybe with a number, or another way of getting them???

Cheers

Neil

Try posting on the plusnet forum on www.adslguide.org.uk, their staff seem to have plenty of time to post (and generally get abuse thrown at them) on there.

No cause to complain? Try and leave!

Its getting that way (all 25+ connections I have with them).

I've found the forums, and have nicely PM'd the PlusNet staff to see if any of them fancy helping me...

Neil,
i've just setup an account with PlusNet, and before I had signed up with them I called them to ask a few questions and my call was answered almost straight away (isn't that always the way?). However when my account activation was stalled and the online ticket response was not very clear why I tried to call them

I needed to call them twice, first time I was on hold for 30mins and the next time was nearly 45mins There phone system sometimes cuts out the hold music which makes you think you've been cut off, but if you hold on the annoying woman tells you to have your account details ready... again. In the end the lift music will come back or someone will answer.

They also never tell you your possition in the que

I read on their forums that they are really busy at the mo dealling with all the problems of people who have been upgraded to BBMax and I think they've even moved the ticket issuing page somewhere less 'obvious' in order to slow down the tickets

Just to add, now I'm activated I'm very happy with the product

mr_yogi, I hope you don't live to regret it; as pretty much all plusnet's recent users do!
