Ferrari is showing the range of personalisation possible with its Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme. It's invited creative director Tony Chambers and art editors Meirion Pritchard and David McKendrick from design magazine Wallpaper "to design a stylish and sophisticated Ferrari 612 Scaglietti interpreting the unlimited possibilities available".

They came up with two-tone paint scheme, with two complementary colours Nero and Blu Pozzi which are also silhouetted in the interior of the car, which has Nero and Blu Scuro leather Daytona seats with Blu stitching for the all-aluminium, four-seat GT.

It got Wallpaper branding on the aluminium kickplates, the leather of the glovebox lid, and a matching six-piece luggage set in the same colours as the car.

Standard packages include:

  • HGTS Package: Sports Exhausts, Modular Wheel Rims 19" with Sport Tyres, Coloured Brake Callipers, Specific Suspension Control ECU, Revised F1 Gearbox Software with Shorter Gear Shift times.
  • HGTC Package: Carbon-Ceramic Brake Discs, CCM System Monoblock Brake Callipers, Sports Exhaust, Ball-polished Modular Wheel Rims 19" with Sport Tyres, Colour Brake Callipers, Specific Suspension Control ECU and Revised F1 Gearbox Software with Shorter Gear Shift times.

You can have any colour you want on the car, put ‘Scuderia Ferrari’ shields on the flanks and have red, yellow or aluminium grey brake callipers. Other options include  Pininfarina-designed 19-inch modular five spoke rims wheel with titanium screws, polished or unpolished. Interior colours are unlimited too.

Yeah, just another Scag. Stupid name too, 'Wallpaper'.

Like the Scag but find editions like this pointless.

Just like to say that those wheels don't do the car justice at all.

What an awful choice of partner.

By teaming up with "Wallpaper" Ferrari have made the car seem bland and boring (which to be honest is the end result aswell).

Maybe they'll find a design house called "Dishwater" next..

Spend an extra 10k on silly mods, that way you'll loose 60k in the first year. Brilliant

take your point, but the owners of such cars probably lose more money running for the bus in the morning

As if drivers of cars like these run for the bus......or even run full stop

This might be the most pointless article to appear in Pistonheads this year!

Think this car was at Goodwood FoS this year in the Ferrari display in the Stables of the house. (Looks like the picture may have been taken there.)

The effect was very subtle. Possibly too subtle. Certainly nothing special IMHO.

Well 10k is still 10k. Buy a watch, or hifi speakers, anything but car options

IRTA "I'm a cheapskate and I don't yet have a watch or hifi speakers, therefore anyone that spends £10k on car options before buying me my watch is a bastard"

God you lot are a bunch of irredeemable plonkers! Don't you realise there are about 5 billion other people in the world who could look upon your own lifestyle choices and see waste and excess too?

If soneone's successful enough to be able to afford £10k of options on their Fezza, good luck to them! It's all relative.

It might just be my weak eyes but this car really just looks plain black. Very subtle effect indeed... After a special black Roller now the special black Scaglietti. And then you get told by the fashionistas that white is the new black. Boy am I confused...

I've seen this car up close at the FoS and its paint colouring is quite clever, its black upto the top of the wing line, blue over the centre section including the door mirrors. The car was not paint all black or blue then the other colour painted over its two colours meet at the top ot wing line in one paint process. The wheels are a one off set just for that one car,as is the five pieces luggage set,and the interior trim which as both Ferrari's and Wallpaper's logo's embossed on it.The car has not been driven on the road yet and will be going back to Ferrari for testing later this week. The car will than become Ferrari's press car, You can order one but it will cost more than an extra 10k more like 50- 100k.

Sorry to but in, I have been driving a 612 the last few days with the same wheels as the 'Wallpaper Car'. I thought they were the 19"Modula wheels not one offs!
