... was this Sunday just gone (9th July). Where was everyone?

A good turnout from the TVR boys, a fair number of Caterham Sevens and a smattering of Triumphs, MGs, Jaguars and Austin Healeys but generally a very quiet day. It could have been a great event (the Auto Italia days there have been packed) - I wonder what needs to be done to attract more next year?

It probably did'nt help that it was The Goodwood FOS this weekend, and what with the Wimbledon Final and World Cup Final maybe people stayed in for those ??

Not clashing with FOS would be a start. From another thread it seems like the hill was open in the afternoon but I think that the Brooklands bods need to make more of an effort.
Good to see you J. Top marks to the TVR mob as they were the biggest club there on the day and it would have been disappoining without them. 2007 is the 100th anniversary of Brooklands and the 60th for TVR so lets hope they pull something out of the bag.
Cheers,
Karen

Don't forget the rain first thing that put quite a few off. But we had a picnic in the sunshine very nice day.

did not take a picnic because of the weather forecast but wish we had as the weather was o.k in the end so had to have a greasy instead.

Well I didn't know it was on or we'd have been there. Needs a bit more advertising methinks.

For those that didn't go, here are some of the cars there.

None of the TVRs I'm afraid.
