After my underwhelming test drive of the 996 GT3 the main dealer were on the phone this weekend trying to sell me something else -- 997C2S, possibly 997tt.

I said I'd be interested in a 996 Turbo S perhaps and he sort of said I'd be lucky people are holding onto turbos at the moment.

This was probably the root of the telephone call -- to get my turbo on stock, they definitely loved it when they assessed it for trade in.

So is the market tight in turbos? Maybe now would be a good time to move mine on.

Anything is for sale at a price!

Try it, you don't have to sell even if you get an offer.

Why not keep the tt?A lot of car for the money which is why they are starting to trade better.a lot of the price drop over the last year or so were worries about the 997tt being so much better which according to early reviews may not be the case.i looked at at 997c2s as well just coz i think the 997 looks better than the 996...unless you can go for the 997tt stick with the 996tt imo.

So what's the latest trend then for 996 tt prices? They look to me to be the same as they were when I last looked / bought in January, certainly at the OPCs.

What's my 2002 with 30k, major service and clutch just done likely to make (Midnight blue/dark blue leather, sat nav, sim slot, bose, sports seats, etc)?

They are a little lower now than in january but the guy in the uk who prices most of the secondhand market(independent broker effectively-but porsche dealers use him nearly all the time)told me they are holding value here and quite sort after..i would have thought £48-50K depending on condition...
