I have a special drill bit for perspex/plastic and i know you gotta be careful drilling. Wondering about how to cut the larger hole. Hole saw? Dremel? any other advice appreciated?
thanks,
jeff

Fortunately, I don't have to drill my vents into plexiglass, but if I did, here's how I'd do it.
Use a circle cutter which is adjustable, and use a slow speed drill.(Drill press is best)
The circle cutter has a removable bit, so dull it slightly.
Most important!! Use a heat gun set at low temp, and warm the plexiglass in the area that you will be cutting to about 100'.
You must hold the drill very steady so the bit can't grab or wobble.
If you can find a circular cutter the correct size, dull the teeth slightly, (like on concrete), but still use the heat. Heat is the secret to avoid cracking.
Good Luck
