I'm currently negotiating with my accountant a method of extracting sufficent funds from the company over year end to start down the road to Can-Am ownership.

There are two things that I'm not sure of though. The first is the mirrors, which may be able to be replaced by the GTR versions mounted off the front screen, and the second the roof.

Before I get moderated I know that Ted and co have done a lot of work on the roof, and it has proved to be stable and watertight at mega speeds, but I just don't think it quite works visually.

I have just noticed the Carrera GT3 pictures on the front page of PH, which has got me thinking. Could this sort of roof work on a CanAm?

Ok, it would need a permanent screen between the roll bar, and some other semi-permanent pieces, but other than than, a couple of panels that could store behind the seats would allow more standard side screens (rather than the bulgy ones at the moment) and a perfect all round car with almost GTR practicality - best of both worlds

Any thoughts?

Long shot - has anybody got a 3D model of the car to see how this would work??

If the factory did this, then I would consider building one. But would still have to have Full Cage, for my piece of mind. Basicaly would pay more for body if it was a T-Top, just love T-Tops. C5 Corvettes are my second love.
