Can anyone remember a two player....side view...scrolling shoot em up / platform game..

On the Amiga, where you were soldiers rescuing people and collecting powerups etc...????

Nope....

No helicopters IIRC....just 2 little blokes with guns....shooting baddies...side scroller....collecting weapons upgrades [which I seem to recall looked like lolipops...]

Was it up and down the screen or side to side? I remember having one on the master system called Secret Command where you went from the bottom of the screen to the top, shooting little round bullets at people and firing arrows with grenades on into huts which would free POWs who then threw you more grenades and lives etc. Was damn tough though. Think it was also called Commando.
