Did you see the Robert Opron-programme? A few years ago 'Het uur van de Wolf' had a nice item about a guy talking to Robert Opron about making the ideal car. Robert Opron: "Describing what you're looking for is so important. Sketching is a later stage . . ." And he just begun writing down some needs, characteristics and all that.
I agree. Just creating a shape is often without content and out of framework . . . and eventually thus a waste of energy . . . Strategic design and all that.
Nowadays most designs are nice in concept (new Lancia Fulvia FI) but often killed at the stage where reality meets the dream. In this case Euroregs . . .
As a kid I used to sketch zillions of cars. One of my fav themes was the powerfull lightweight roadster. Based on the impression TVR's wedges had on me I drew 4.4 litre powered beasties. Completed with the maths to calculate their performance. So much to my surprise when I found new interest in cars - about 2001 - the Tamora and the Tuscs were basically the cars of my teens
And then I found out about the Cerbera . . . Michiel, could you do a 2006-version of the Cerbera?
