Bit gutted here but it doesn't seem like anyone other than Toyo are doing 245/45/16's anymore!

Can't believe they're fazing out the Falken FK451's (Great on my car).

Anyone out there running T1-R's and loving them?

Only go as wide as 225 in a 16 afaik.

Gutted, don't want to have to put 17inch wheels on just so I can buy tyres .

Try www.mytyres.co.uk they have some Bridgestone SO2's in 245/45/16

These are a good tyre, bit pricey for 16s, but they'll do the job for you.

I always thought of Toyos as a 'cheap' tyre and never paid much attention. I was amazed at the dry performance (grip/traction) so figured they'd be sh1t in the wet then? Wrong! In monsoon last week, I chucked the 4.5 into a roundabout expecting to get a nice slide on and... nothing. Went hotter still into the next roundabout and... nothing. Pumped up cajunes for next attempt and got a nice slide going (breakaway in the wet was progressive too). I rate them.

They look tough too.

Iused a few sets of these on my 16" wheels and really liked them. Have now gone to the GSD3s on "17.
