Before i wiped my computer i managed to setup another personal folder that was exactly the same as the Outlook Today folder in Outlook which had exactly the same inbox, sent, calender folders etc as my personal 'Outlook Today' folder which i then used for my business emails. Do you think i can remeber how to do it?

Please help...

You want to add another pst file to outlook to use for work stuff, and leave the origional for personal stuff?

In outlook 2003 it's in file, data file managment

In outlook 2000 it's in tools, services, add, personal folders (depending on how outlook was installed!)

Thats one way to do it - the other way is to have multiple profiles and a prompt when you open it up. This can be acheived in control pannel/mail - my memory is a little hazy from this point onwards perhaps someone else could continue, or you could have a look and muddle through!

Just looked at that, would prefer how i had it before i wiped my laptop with the 2 folders the same (except some subfolders) with mail going to each one setup through the rules wizard.

I think you need to go to go, then folders list. That should show you the folder structure like ol2k and olXP used to

Oh should also mention that if you need those folders in the new PST, just create them! Right click/new folder where you want it to be.

Thanks aldi, i'm starting to like the idea of having 2 profiles for Outlook so if i get no satisfaction later i'll probably set that up instead.

I just cant understand how i did it before with no problems but i cant do it now. When i backed up my emails and folders before the re install i only saved the personal email folders as i had nothing of interest in the business one as yet anyway.
