It's now just a few days before the Big Bad Wedge Fest - so just a few details:

How to get there :

Event Details:
The main event is on Saturday at Ettington Chase and on Sunday there is local Drag Racing - bring a helmet and your driving licence or a trip 'Back Home' to Blackpool - for those that booked with the TVR CC for the final tour of the TVR Blackpool factory before it moves to Lancaster.

Saturday Event timing is :

11:00 Arrival from this time onward with parking organised by model.
Please pickup a conference badge with your name on arrival - from Paul & Michel in the Wedge support vehicle..

13:00 Tech talks - Chassis, Fuel Injection, Engines, Suspension set-up.
13:30 Fantasy ride out - fancy a passenger ride out in a wedge (or other TVR) - see Paul & Michel in the Wedge support vehicle..

14:00 Exhaust noise challenge - run by the crazy Dutchmen..

15:00 Convoy - Gandalf taking us thru the Shires

16:00 Concours - shiniest wedge

18:30 BBQ at White Horse (this needs to be pre-booked)

20:00 Free Raffle draw for those attennding the event

Other info :

Poloshirts and Caps need to be picked up on the Saturday from Paul & Michel in the Wedge Support Vehicle (ex Ambulance)

Ettington Chase has facilities that the ladies can use if bored with blokes talking cars (tennis, swimming, 3 hole golf, sauna etc..)

You can order sandwiches and drinks at Ettington chase from Midday onwards on Saturday - or bring a picnic if you wish..

BBW autojumble - you are welcome to bring along any 'wedge' stuff you want rid of but thing would be of interest to others..

Caps & Polo shirts can be ordered for later delivery from Paul & Michel in the the Wedge Support Vehicle.

Don't forget camera / Video and to charge the battery..

Portable seat / umbrella / sun cream and most importantly :

Sungrasses because it's going to be sunny this year

Please be careful with all that power under your right foot - if there are people around !

A bit more info:

I will be turning up at about 10:00 on Saturday with a large van containing a quantity of TVR windscreens and side windows and a mobile workshop tent (weather too hot or too wet) to do some demonstration windscreen fittings on Wedges. There will be four of us on site to answer any questions that you may have.
Two windscreen replacements booked provisionally so far; bring you insurance certificate and we will waive the excess or alternatively bring a moderate amount of folding money or some plastic.

Also - can one of your guys repair a few chips in my screen.. I'll bring my insurance (and cheque book..) what ever as they say.

As for parking - as you drive in - if you park in the very first car park you see on the left.
