DVD to PC help please!!

[hollypop]

A friend of mine recorded a tv programme onto DVD for me. However I have no idea how on earth to get it on my computer in order to host it on the internet.

The hosting is fine it's just the DVD to PC that i'm stuck on.

Sorry to be a bit blonde on this but I just don't know where to start!

Thanks guys!

I've not tried it, but I guess you'll need a DVD "ripper" that will copy the content of the DVD to your hard drive. Then you'll need (want) to convert the file format to something a bit more internet friendly ... MP3 or AVI probably. If you have a bit of a google you'll probably find all the stuff you need.
