Windscreen

Anybody ever managed to scratch his windscreen with the wiper rubber? - I seem to have done this on the lower edge of the wiper (there is no evidence of metal coming out of the rubber or the rubber beeing worn...)
So wot to do- if I get a new screen (I heard they are difficult to get hold of- expensive???) what does stop it to be scratched again or could one possibly polish the old one- its not extensively worn???

I have a mark on my screen from the drivers side blade. It is not deep. I have seen this polishing kit, but not got round to getting one and having a go yet.

Total price was 60 squid. Bargain if you ask me and they do all the insurance etc for you.

I have etching type scratches on my screen from the lower part of the blade. Been there since I bought it. Did wonder if one of the optical type polishing kits would get rid, but I've never been brave enough to try!
