SD1 Road speed sensor

Anyone know how the road speed sensor fits into the gearbox and where it's located?

I order a new sensor, but I don't understand how you fix it on - is there a clamping plate on the gearbox a la distributor?

Normally up on the side of the box. Worth chceking that you don't have an external one at the end of the propshaft before ordering. A 1993 car should have the Rover gearbox sensor but you just can't rely on TVR...
