Air con - odd or TADTS?

Took the Cerbera to my Dad's funeral yesterday as the old boy would have really appreciated it, 3 hours there and 3 hours back. Car behaved it's self perfectly and went like a dream as well as sitting calmly in very slow moving traffic on a hot day.
Only gripe is that we had the air con on all the way there (no problems) and then all the way back. About 15 minutes before we got home I noticed that the air was no longer cold coming out of the vents, I popped the bonnet as we pulled into our drive and I could see the compressor turning okay, but no cold air. Any thoughts? Gas pressure - would the compressor still engage?
Not tried it since, might just be a small glitch.
Averaged 20mpg for the trip, not bad I thought.

Sounds like a leak to me?
I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a small leak from the top pipe going into the compressor. It was caused by the two 'o' rings failing. Simple to fix but a pain to find.
My a/c guy put the flourescent dye into the system to check it and eventually (after a second visit) found the leak and replaced the 'o' rings.
I believe the main problems with any a/c systems are often down to lack of use and the seals etc dry out over time! Best preventative is to use it regularly!
I used the company that Fernhursts use for any a/c problems, and he came out to my house which was very convenient.
