Bits dropping off under hard acceleration ;-)

One of the jobs i had planned for the coming weekend was putting some more rivets in the trims attached to my exhaust.....

Whoever attached them had used pop-rivets to attach the trims to the pipes - a complete cowboy job!!!

Anyway, I nailed it in first gear, only to hear a tinging sound and watch my exhaust trim spin off into the distance in the mirror.

The car is going up to APM shortly anyway, so i reckon it's time for a decent backbox. I've heard ACT mentioned a few times. Any other recommendations?

lol, the exhaust gas heats the rivets which then go very soft (soft ally to start with) then they fall out and what ever was attached with them falls off.

Did somthing similar in my youth.
