A preview of your post then confirm or bin it

On another site ( shame on me I know ) you can submit your reply, then it is displayed on screen as it would appear, then you can accept it or change it.. Could stop a few errors on the editing side and also allows people to check which/if smiles are working... Whaddya think Ted ?!?!

They do that on Horse & Hound but the feel of the site suffers (or is it the content that does that) not bothered personally

Would be useful. Would also catch those times when single quotes are inexplicably converted to double quotes, as often seems to happen. You'd see it happen and be able to edit it before posting, rather than after (as I seem to do). Gets my "thumbs up" then. Some sites have two buttons - "Submit now" and "Preview, then submit". If you implemented that then people who don't want to preview before posting don't have to - then everyone is happy.

That sounds like a sensible idea. I'll get on the case later this week. As for the single/double quotes, that's just a bug. I'll fix that at the same time.
