The two key fob alarm blippers for my datatool veto evo alarm are becoming a bit temperamental to say the least.

It may just be new batteries, which I presume are easy to install, but otherwise is it easy to get new blippers and is there any problem synching them to an exsiting alarm?

I know a chap who's a Meta specialist. He can provide replacement fobs for Meta units, without installing a complete new system. That suggests to me the same ought to be possible with other systems.

If it's anything like my System3 then it's probably the batteries. Mine didn't last very long at all. The other thing might be radio mast interference. It caught me out in France and I had to wheel my bike, alarm blaring, to the back of the service station just to get out of sight of the radio mast and turn off the alarm.

I have a Datatool 2 alarm and a dealer 'lost' one blipper, they supplied me with a new one and I contacted Datatool cust services who were very helpful and sent me instructions on how to re-code the alarm and disable any lost blippers. Don't know if the Veto is any different but I would think that it can be done in a similar way.
