Replace all tyres at same time?

There is much talk about new tyres needing to have the 'film' removed over a few hundred miles and the tyres bedded in to the cars natural ride, ie full tyre contact with the road.

Is it best to replace all tyres together or to do two at a time so you know what part of the car maybe unstable in certain condistions?

I will be replacing all 4 tyres on mine in the next couple of weeks at the same time. As long as you don't drive like a nutter for the first few hundred miles I don't see a problem as all 4 tyres will bed in together making it better in the long run. IMO! Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Accepted wisdom is that they should at least be renewed in Pair's(same axle)..

If you have an un-repairable puncture then the tyre should be the same to match that replaced (no need to buy a pair..).

I always replace all 4 at the same time to keep the balance.
