Searching through the documentation i recieved when i bought the Tasmin(private sale) i have just come across the manufacturers warranty its got the name of the 1st purchaser from new his adress telephone number the lot he bought the car on 26/1/84 from Amersham Motors ltd

Apparently Stewart Halstead was the managing director of TVR at the time, has any of you lads got anything like this cause i was amazed to find it there and its still in excellent nick.

The one I have in the history file still has the registration of ownership form on it, the new owner did not mail it in to TVR.

My car has only just gone out of warranty, hit 12,000 miles a couple of months ago.

I have the original order document for mine. It was in build (March 91) 4 days after the order was written! - I don't think TVR were too busy at that time..... I'm told a build of March 91 makes it one of the last 400se built. anyone got a later build date? (not registration date)
