I do my invoices to clients on Excel. Currently, I print one copy on headed paper which goes to the client. I print another copy on plain paper, which goes in my draw. When the invoice is paid, the copy I have goes in a book. Thats how I keep track of things.

I print my own headed paper.

Is there a way I can get Excel to print not only the invoice, but the headed paper its on, at the same time? I have the headed paper graphic (a4 sized) in Photoshop. Is there some way I can import this as a background in Excel?

It just saves me a job if you know what I mean.

Format sheet background lets you insert a repeating background from a file.

You ca insert pictures to the header and footer of the page.
Click View > Header and Footer > Click Custom Header (Or footer).
Theres a row of buttons at the top of the dialog box, the second from right is insert picture.

Just put the image straight onto the excel template that you use to create the invoices.

Resize it though before you put it on, otherwise you will have huge file sizes and wont help for either storage or emailing.

Thats how I do it for my clients..and my own!

I think I would create a form, there are templates in Spreadsheet solutions or you can even design your own.

To cut a long story short you can pull the data from a spreadsheet to fill in the form information, even have pictures and go all interactive on the form, buttons, pull down boxes and so on.

By the sound of what you want to do that is how I would apprroach the problem.
