Photo/ Colour printer recommendations
Discussion
MODS: Sorry to cross post but after thinking about it this is probably the better forum to post my question.
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good A4 printer that is also good for printing photos, either on to A4 or the smaller photo sized photo-paper?
I have found a reasonable review of the Canon Pixma iP5200R which also has wireless connectivity. Has anyone used one? How do pictures compare with professional prints?
Anyone care to recommend something else?
Thanks

I've got the slightly smaller 4200 which I think is great.
On photo paper, the quality is excellent, and you can print normal documents on plain paper too. One useful feature is that it has an in-built duplex system, so you can print on both sides of the paper without having to do anything.
It's cheap, quick, quiet and so far hasn't jammed or let me down in any other way - highly recommended.

I'm an Epson R300 user. (Now super'd by the 320 IIRC.)
It's good value, easy to use, has a good compromise of a six ink system (and you can get plenty of choice of OE or aftermarket carts for it), and pulls up very acceptable, up to A4 borderless, pics without much fuss. And it copes with your everyday stuff too. I like it.

Seconded. Make sure you buy the 6 cartridge replacement set, as you save about £30.
